PET PORTRAITS
This page is devoted to the people who are essentially animal lovers and in particular the kind of people that want to remember their pets in their prime. I have in the past taken photos of pets in their home surroundings and at play.
People always warned me that pets and children are notoriously difficult to photograph successfully and I can assure them that they are right. Being the sort of person with an unending supply of patience does help and has been a boon in this profession.
Pictured is my own little sweetheart, Trixie. She is a ten year old "Yorkie" and has a really feisty character.
This is not the most flattering of portraits but it shows her character to the full.

Our little Sparky. This was taken when he was about 6 years old. Sadly he passed away in March 2014 at the age of 14 from a brain tumour. He was a much loved and sadly missed pet with a lovely temperament and this shows him at his best just after a grooming.
Two pictures taken as the opportunity arose.
I have been fortunate enough to meet two lovely people a few times and their equally lovely Samoy dog. I would like to thank them for allowing me to take these photographs of such a beautiful animal.
